Unfortunately, my PC&#039;s manufacturer doesn&#039;t offer Win XP (or Win XP drivers) as a choice for new machines -- and I don&#039;t have time to experiment to see if Win XP drivers will work out of the box. That&#039;s pretty much the only reason I left Vista on my new laptop rather than &quot;downgrading&quot; it to Win XP when I got it.</description>

		<description>Vista does, indeed,  work well with 2GB RAM on an SH6. Quite amazing really.

However, XP Tablet runs faster and would probably allow you to get the same productivity out of a 1GB  machine. It largely depends on your tablet requirements. As i&#039;m someoone that  doesn&#039;t use handwriting, there aren&#039;t many features in Vista that really make much difference to me.

The key thing is, get the 2GB upgrade when you buy an SH6 and then  you have the choice of OS.
