There was supposed to be some kind of Intel employee beta program a couple of years ago, but I never heard anything more about it. Still, I'm excited for WiMAX. Last time I checked Clearwire's site, they had coverage in select areas in Oregon. I'd check out their site to see if you're covered. On 10/23, AT&T will be offering the Sierra Wireless 881U. This is the HSUPA version of the 875U. If you're in the coverage area, you'll get much faster upload speeds with that device. It's the same size as the 875U though, which is very bulky.
