Fujitsu U810 Docking Station
I ordered some accessories last week for the Fujitsu U810 from the Fujitsu store.
One of the items was the docking station. I finally brought it in to work today and took some snapshots with the iPhone.
On the back are 3 USB ports, VGA, LAN, and power. The right side includes an additional USB port to make it 4 total.
There’s not much to it. The piece of metal in the back slides in to make it more portable. It works fine and will make it much easier to set up at my second location.

I also have the U810 and really like it. I’m using Vista Business Edition with Aero and runs good for me. I travel through out the day so I need to be mobile. I have the docking station for the U810 and have 19″ Acer LCD, Logitech Novo BT Keyboard, and a Apple BT might mouse. I also have the leather case for the U810. I also had a extra USB SD Memory card from SanDisk and put that in one of the USB ports on the back of the docking station to use as speed boost. I really haven’t noticed much using the speed boost so I just leave it there when I dock the U810.
Nice. The executive leather case and screen protectors were also part of the order. I like it a lot. It makes the U810 easier to grab. It has a bit of weight but it makes the U810 feel like a leather bound book when carrying it around in your hands. It’s too bad you can’t have the U810 in the case and dock it.
I’m glad Vista is working for you. I may try to dual boot again when SP1 is stable to see if anything has changed.
Very true; everyone that see’s the U810 in the leather case thinks its a Daily Timer Book when they just glance at it. I also wish that it would fit in the docking station with the leather case also, but I guess I can’t be to picky. By the way I also just got a screen protector for my U810 since I do use the U810 in Tablet mode about 90% of the time, and started to noticed some scratches on the screen. I ordered som Lamy Stylus refills for my Cross Pen that I converted to use a stylus and has the pen, and pencile.
i love the leather case, especially the way it makes it feel like a nice, old book. i have been running Ubuntu on it since i bought it and recently installed the netbook remix packages onto it which makes it even more useful as a tablet.
one of my favorite new aspects of this is ow it fits into my waistpack so that my walking load is really greatly reduced.
